Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is an unfortunate condition that many veterans returning from deployments are suffering form. Others suffer from childhood trauma, or sexual assault. Some dealing with the diagnosis of PTSD will self-identify with others, however, many will not because of the stigma attached as well as the fear of discrimination.
When a veteran is hired they bring attributes to the table like commitment, honor, loyalty, respect, problem solving, and dedication, just to name a few. However, they also bring some issues like PTSD, depression, or anxiety. These may or may not be documented or even self-identified. With our education platform we can and will help eliminate the knowledge gap between everyone involved. With the right training and the right tools we can help every employee succeed.
When you contract with BRAVO Vet, we will be available to conduct on site sessions monthly, for the purpose to assist employees that may want to talk with us for many different reasons. A pre-scheduled day will be arranged by the on-site coordinator at your business location. That coordinator will set up blocks of time for employees that wish to speak with me at your location. All sessions are completely confidential and will abide by ethics guidelines. Ethical guidelines will be discussed, and re-addressed at all sessions. What is discussed by myself and your employee is confidential and will remain that way. All recommendations will be confidential unless there is proof of self-harm, harming others, or child/elder abuse. During these sessions, we can talk about mental health issues, drug and/or alcohol problems, suicidal thoughts or ideations, including any other challenges that your employee may be encountering.
Then reach out to BRAVO Vet, fill out our contact us request form and we will talk and see if we can make an arrangement to come out and work with your business.
